History
Wolf Mountain got it's origins from the Disney mountains (Big Thunder, Expedition Everest, etc.). I started toying around with recreating the legendary Western River Expedition, only combining it with a roller coaster. So i began mapping out the different show scenes, and eventually Wolf Mountain was born.
Queue
Guests enter Grizzly Oaks mine and begin winding through the caverns and mining offices before arriving in the main load station. There, they board their train and begin their adventure into the wilderness of Wolf Mountain.
Ride
Guests depart the station and ride around in the dark forests before encountering a lone wolf. After the wolf snarls at the train, guests ride around a rocky area before dropping down into a dark cave, and coming out into the Wild West. As guests ride through town, native Americans fight for their land against the mining cowboys. Shots are fired, drunken cowboys fall out of windows, and horses whine at the train. The train then enters another dark cavern, before coming out at the foot of Wolf Mountain. As another wolf howls at the train, guests enter another mine, where they find the battle continues between the Indians and Cowboys. As the bullets fly, dynamite begins to go off. As a stray bullet flies, it causes the mine to explode. The train falls to safety, and arrives back in Grizzly Oaks, where guests exit and enter a gift shop.
